The following Terms and conditions apply to all bookings made on this website. We kindly ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a booking

Reservation & Payment

The bookings will only be undertaken by providing credit card details. We accept the following types of cards: JCB, Visa, Maestro, MasterCard and American Express only, valid until the date of departure from the hotel.

The card details will be passed directly to the hotel to guarantee your booking. Hotel Moonlight reserves the right to pre-authorize your card prior to arrival in order to guarantee your booking with your first rate amount. If the card has been declined, the hotel will try to contact the guest and reserves the right to cancel the booking if an alternative valid card is not provided.

At check in time we will authorise the accommodation charges and anticipated incidentals for the duration of your stay.

All outstanding charges must be paid for in full on check-out from the hotel. If the outstanding charges do not exceed the authorization taken on check-in, the authorization for the amount not utilised will be release, however, we cannot control how long it takes for your bank to effect such release.

For advance purchase rates, the card you booked with must be presented on arrival, along with appropriate ID.

Third Party Payments

In case you require the reservation to be paid by a third party, please download our Payment Authorization Form, fill it and send it back to us along with a copy of the card (front and back) and respective ID, by email to [email protected]. This is valid for all cases where the cardholder’s name doesn’t match guest’s name, as we always need to verify the credit/debit card provided for the payment upon check-in.

Cancellation & Amendments

The cancellation policy varies according to the rate that is booked. Please refer to the individual full rate descriptions given at booking.

Advance Purchase Rates are non-refundable and non-transferable and full payment will be forfeited.

Best flexible rates may be cancelled with 24 hours before arrival until 2:00pm, after which a charge for the first night’s accommodation shall be payable. Please ensure you cancel within the time specified.

Group booking

A booking of five rooms or more is classified as a group and is subject to our Group Terms & Conditions, which differ from our Best flexible rates and advance Purchase rates. Please contact us for more information [email protected]


All children (a person under 16 years of age) staying at the hotel must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by an adult at all times. Children up to 2 years may share their parent’s room at no extra charge. Baby cots are available upon request. However, these are limited and subject to availability.

Arrival and Departure

Hotel rooms are available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure, unless otherwise sanctioned at the discretion of the Hotel Manager.

Guests checking in from any of the European Union countries must provide either the ID card or passport upon arrival. Guests who are not from UK or any of the EU countries can only provide Passport as a valid photo-id.

Early Departure

Guest Checking out prior to their departure date will be charged an early departure/cancellation fee, equivalent to one-night charge.


A fee up 200 pounds will be assessed for smoking in a non-smoking room. Please ask at Reception for locations of designated outdoor smoking areas.


We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the hotel during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.

Behaviour and Conduct

Reasonable behaviour is expected at all times: unreasonable behaviour will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to cancel your booking at any time if any person or group, who in the opinion of management behaves in an objectionable manner or contravenes the company’s terms and conditions and there will be no refunds made for payments already received.

Limitation of Liability

The company will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any property left in the hotel other than as required under the Hotel Proprietor’s Act 1956 and the local London Authorities Act 2004 or any other applicable law.

Guests liability for their account is not waived and guests agree to be held personally liable in the event that any indicated person, group, company or association fails to pay all or part of any charges incurred.
